AUO Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Corporation”),in accordance with Personal Information Protection Act, hereby notifies the undersigned precisely of the following items. Please read carefully and note:

1. Purpose of collection: For the specific purpose of recruiting procedures in order to meet the needs of Human Resources strategic planning.If your application is not successful, your personal data will be maintained in the Corporation’s database. Once any future job opportunity is fitting your application, we will notify you in a timely manner.

2. Classification of the personal information collected: Depending on the information actually collected, including name, gender, date of birth, blood type, I.D. card number, marital status, military service record, mailing address, resident address, email address, contact phone number, fax number, family, education, work experience, language proficiency, computer or other occupational skills, credit standing, autobiography, expected salary, medical record, criminal record, and other information which may be used to identify a natural person.

3. Time period, area, target and way of use of personal information:

3.1.Time period: For a period of five(5) years upon receiving your personal data(the five-year period will not be restarted if you spontaneously renew your personal data in Corporation website within the five-year term). Upon the expiration of the five-year term, the Corporation and its affiliates will cassate the processing or use of your personal data and delete those data. (all of your personal data, account, password of the website will be deleted)
3.2.Area: The places where the Corporation and its affiliated companies are located.
3.3.Target: The Corporation and its affiliated companies.
3.4.Way of use of personal information: Personal information will be used by means of internet, email, hard copy, fax and other ways in compliance with the relevant Personal Information Protection Act and regulations.

The undersigned, pursuant to Personal Information Protection Act, has the right to inquire about, review, obtain a copy of, request to stop further collection, processing, or use of, delete, supplement or correct, his/her personal information held by the Corporation by submitting a written request to the designated officer of the Corporation. If the Corporation is unable to do the aforesaid collection, processing or use, it and its affiliated companies may not be able to proceed with necessary business management, execution and other tasks, including personnel administrative works involving the undersigned.
